I became Holistic and went to school in Ocala Flordia with Dr Julie Montgomery after my horse became ill and died due to conventional treatment.

I learned about nutrition in horses, herbs, homeopathics and Equine Pain Point Release. I wrote several books listed on Amazon – How to Identify & Release Your Horses Pain Points – Natural Equine Remedies- I have demonstrated at Ohio Equine Affair, Harrisburg Pa and MD Expos. I give workshops and train others to become Certified in the Equine Pain Point method.

I love helping others with their horse health.

In fact, I helped many horses recover from health issues and lameness.

Ms. Jean opened The Natural Connection INC in 2003, starting as a horse rehabilitation, retraining and lesson business.  In the last 16 years, the business has grown and found a permanent residence on the beautiful property of the Marriott Ranch, owned by the Marriott Corporation, located in Linden, VA.  Ms. Jean, Owner/Operator/Instructor and Trainer owns 36 horses, and has a staff of 10+ employees working with her to provide a unique service the public.  The Natural Connection INC is the independent contracted business to offer trail rides to the public on the 4200 acre ranch.  Above and beyond this service, horses that are “in need” are carefully selected to join the program.  These horses undergo rehabilitation mentally and emotionally during acclimation, and while medical conditions are attended to, a thorough BASELINE is established to create an exercise and training program that best suits each individual horse’s needs.  The goal is for each horse to have the chance to participate in one of the many different programs offered here.  Those programs include:

-All walk trail rides for the public

-Private lesson trail rides that include trotting and cantering

-Private lessons in the round pen for beginner riders

-Private lessons in the arena for advanced beginners or above

-Ranch work which involves cattle work
